About Mr. Mend

An honest day’s work, done properly

We are a small, independent maintenance service based in Torbay. The idea behind Mr. Mend is simple: offer good-quality, straightforward help with the jobs people often put off — and do it with care.

We know how frustrating it can be waiting around for someone who never turns up, or being quoted silly prices for a small job. That is not how we work. We believe in turning up on time, doing a tidy job, and charging a fair price.

Most of our work comes through word of mouth, and we like it that way.

Repairs and General Maintenance

From putting up shelves to fixing cupboard doors, sealing showers to changing locks — if it needs sorting, we will take a look.

Painting and Decorating

Freshen up a room, fix scuffed walls, or tackle that wallpapering job you have been putting off. We take care with the prep and leave things clean and tidy.

Plumbing

Leaky taps, faulty flushes, slow drains — we sort out small plumbing issues without the hassle.

Electrical

Replacing light fittings, switches, sockets or extractor fans — all done safely and with the proper checks.

Gardening

Lawn care, hedge trimming, weeding, general tidy-ups — we help keep your outdoor space looking its best.
